Encapsulating a “physical veil of doodles” laser-cut into the metal siding of the studio, the new space has a revealing corner entrance that resembles the lifting of a stage curtain, lounge, and storage area. His new mission control will feature an expansion of the neo-Georgian home in which the artist currently resides. The 26-year-old’s public image is defined by his signature “spaghetti graffiti” outfits and an elaborate original myth wherein the artist has been working toward building a spaceship that will eventually transport him back to his native Doodeland after a long period of forced exile.
